About AEHAP

AEHAP - Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs was formed in 1999 to support the network of EHAC accredited environmental health degree programs on campuses across the US.

AEHAP became a primarily volunteer run organization in 2017.  Through the ensuing years AEHAP has continued to support and engage the faculty, staff and students of environmental health degree programs accredited by EHAC.

For 15+ years AEHAP has sponsored the Student Research Competition. The SRC award winners are selected by volunteer judges, who are EH professionals, using an impartial judging process. In 2020, a virtual Student Symposium was added to allow students the opportunity to present their SRC award winning projects.  Each year student winners received cash awards along with travel awards to attend and present at the NEHA Annual Education Conference

Now at the 25-year mark it has been decided to sunset AEHAP as an organization. This will be accomplished by the end of July 2024.  For more detailed information please go to this page.
