and Occupational Health

1. Why did you choose an environmental health career?
I chose to pursue an environmental health career because of the opportunity to directly access, educate, and impact individuals on a daily basis. The profession utilizes a variety of talents and knowledge which keeps everyday task varied both in the office and in the field.

2. What do you like most about the environmental health science program you are in?
The University of Findlay’s ESOH program definitely excels in providing a diverse background in a selection of areas, all of which create a well rounded knowledge base for pursuing environmental health.

3. What do you see yourself doing after graduation?
Upon graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I plan on remaining at the University of Findlay for the Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management as a graduate assistant within the program.

At the completion of my Master’s degree, I will pursue an environmental health position.

4. What would you like to say to potential students to recruit them into an environmental health degree program?
The environmental health profession offers a diverse and challenging work experience combined with the ability to positively influence communities; the field makes for a rewarding career.
